The official video of “Moment in the Sun” is pretty cool too.
Filmed Guerrilla style in a park in South West London, it was definitely caught a lot of people’s attention.

Happily Ever Now is the album I always wanted to make.
Of course, I didn't know that when I started into this amazing, crazy, rollercoaster of a project. I just thought I was making an album that would showcase me as a writer, singer and instrumentalist, which I think it does. But at every stage, when we were writing the songs, recording the band, mixing the sessions and even at the final mastering stage, I always tried to get out of the way and let this music do what it wanted to do. I wanted these songs to come from a genuine place and not impose fashion or super-slick production on them. I wanted the songs to speak for themselves.
These songs speak of love, of loss, of triumph, of doubt and most of all, hope. I couldn't have gotten there without a lot of help from a lot of wonderful people. First working through the lyrics and melodies with my co-writer, Alan D. Marriott, then finding the team starting with my genius producer Gil Cang and some of the greatest players I have ever worked with. People like keyboard master Toby Baker, Mark Vandergucht, whose subtle but insistent guitar riffs lie at the heart of the arrangements, in-the-pocket beats and tasty grooves that just make you smile from drummer Crispin Taylor and bassist Ernie McCone. Not to mention the amazing percussion of Miles Bould, sweet horn parts from James McMillan, and additional bass parts from the incredible Robin Mullarkey. Finally a great mix needs a great person to master it and Michael Scherchen polished it perfectly.
I hope this is an album that makes you smile from ear to ear. For me, making Happily Ever Now was an experience filled with joy, charm and fantastic grooves and melodies. And whether or not it turns out to be to be a classic, this record just might be exactly what the world is looking for right now. That little bit of musical joy that says there is hope, that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
